A little on who we are and what we are about.
DARREN KAMEN
Founder and Chief Executive
Darren is a Chartered Governance Professional in Public Practice, Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute, and Solicitor (now non-practicing).
Darren specialises in working with clients to tackle problems and projects that have a corporate governance element. He uses his extensive experience to help identify and make sense of complex issues, and is known for getting things done pragmatically, thoughtfully and efficiently.
Darren has spent his career supporting companies with complex mergers, acquisitions and investments, developing secretariat professionals and undertaking governance projects.
In 2019 Darren launched Kamen GC (the predecessor to The Governance Clinic), his own consultancy practice specialising in corporate governance and reorganisations projects for listed and large private groups.
When not working, Darren enjoys mountain-biking, fitness and guitar.

Our mission at The Governance Clinic is to demystify governance by serving as a supportive place where you can find practical help, tools, training and access to the guidance of others who have probably experienced a similar issue before, outside of your own team.Â
We want to hear your governance issues, large or small, and suggest practical ways to make them easier for you.
